Eric Davis' rooftop artist studio

I have restored an old rooftop attic space in the heart of Seville, behind the cathedral in the “Barrio Santa Cruz” or the old Jewish Quaters.  It is a very picturesque district with plenty to paint nearby!  I have an old washer room on this rooftop converted into an art studio.  There we have weekly Life Drawing sessions.  I also use that space for painting and storing gear.  I rent this space to other artists.
The Sevillian painter, Inés Loring Moxó www.inesloringmoxo.com / E-mail: [email protected]  is currently using the studio twice a week for the classes she teaches.
I often rent my apartment and the attatched studio to visiting artists who want to come to Seville and pass a week painting.  There are plenty of subjects just a short walk from here, the Cathedral, the jewish quaters, the Parque Maria Luisa and the Guadalquivir river with its bridges.

The apartment has one bedroom with a large double bed, a kitchen and bathroom and salon.  In the salon there is a sofa bed which can sleep 2 people.  The apartment opens on to a huge terrace with a garden, not a bad place to do paintings as it has a great view of the XIVth C. church next door as well as the Cathedral.

A renter can use the studio as well, for cleaning brushes, setting up, storing gear, even painting.  Renters can also join in the life drawing sessions!

I charge 75 euros a night for the apartment and use of  the studio.  If interested, please refer to the CONTACTS page.
